Internationally Friske is known for her roles in the films Night Watch and Day Watch as Alica Donnikova . Although the 20-minute love scene involving Friske was edited from Day Watch by the director, Timur Bekmambetov, she will reappear in the last installment of the trilogy, Final Watch . Her father Vladimir Friske is of German descent . The grandmother from Jeanne Friske was born in a Volga German family in the former Volga German Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic in the Soviet Union . The mother of she is an ethnic Ural Cossack . Her family lives today in Moscow . In 2008 the well-known producer Yosif Prigozhin claimed that Friske was actually born in 1967 and not 1974, making Jeanne Friske forty, and not thirty-five .
